Join us for a guided hike through some of inner Melbourne's famous parks and gardens, discover their history and contemporary uses and learn about the many native animals that continue to live in the heart of our city.
Starting in the north at Carlton Gardens and finishing at Federation Square, our hike takes us through seven inner-city parks and past several of Melbourne's icons, including the Royal Exhibition Building, Cooks Cottage, the MCG, the Federation Bells, the Botanic Gardens and Shrine of Remembrance.

The hike is approximately 8 kms
The grade is easy and flat with good walking surfaces
There are plenty of public facilities available along the hike route
